I am fascinated by locations in which the abstract and at times wild geometry of the electrical grid is nestled within a landscape of trees. Wooden poles and cold metal pylons, as trees, are rooted to the earth and reach to the sky, each conducting a form of energy. I seek their nuances and hidden symmetry, inviting viewers to contemplate the dialogue between nature and technology, not in their separateness, but as elements of a symbiotic, evolving ecosystem.
