My long-term project throughout the states that were formerly part of Yugoslavia retraces a 1940's travel literature classic by the late Dame Rebecca West entitled "Black Lamb and Grey Falcon." This first chapter is centered on Kosovo, which West visited in the spring of 1937, and it is where I am currently living. I have been retracing her journeys in Kosovo and writing about my own experiences in an upcoming travel book that will feature my film photographs alongside my writing. I shoot exclusively on film, 35 and 120 mm, and develop the pictures by hand.
