Re+claimed is a documentary project that investigates the eerie remnants of forgotten military structures left to rot, collapse and form new forms of life in the forests surrounding Berlin. Spaces once home to hundreds or even thousands of soldiers, weaponry, vehicles and megalomaniacal military ambitions, now devoid of glory and inhabited by lush vegetation, packs of wild animals or the occasional human vandal. Using Lomochrome Purple, the film's experimental colour-shifts accentuates the buildings' slow battle against time and nature‘s unrelenting power to take back control.
