This project aims to draw attention to a significant gap in history: the absence or very limited number of photographs of people with disabilities. The exclusion of these individuals from photography has a symbolic dimension, as it reflects their marginalization and alienation from social life. The photographs were taken using the wet collodion technique to make them resemble historical images as closely as possible. The participants are dressed in traditional folk costumes from Warmia (Poland) and photographed against the backdrop of historic rural buildings.
