I love the game of tennis and want to praise and celebrate it through my pictures. But I wanna give it a twist- How are the courts looking in off season? When the crowd has left and all is quiet, when cold moves in and the colors fade. The court is becoming a place of silence and gradual weathering. I enjoyed the contrast of geometric rigidity and atmospheric melancholy. Somehow i could still feel the players presence, waiting for the next serve to return. And i thought: Now there“s time to recognize the beauty of the game without the game. Equipment: Makina 67, Kodak Gold 200
