My work explores memory, landscape, and belonging through handcrafted analog photography. Using a pinhole camera built by myself, I seek to slow down the photographic act and embrace chance, time, and imperfection as part of the image-making process. The sea and the landscape of Rio de Janeiro appear not as documentary elements, but as emotional territories where presence and memory dissolve into one another. In this image, long exposure transforms body and landscape into traces of remembrance.
