The past two years I followed my neighbor and best friend Anne-Fay in the in the run-up to the release of her music album. I documented her and her daughter Nikayte. I tried to visualize the life of a mother-artist, capturing Anne-Fay creating while mothering, mothering while creating. I did the art direction and photography of her album +1 about momhood, all shot with an Polaroid SLR-680 and unedited.
