Sauntering along the narrow, grassy path towards the mangrove forest, I look up to see a bird as white as snow. It seemed to be glowing in comparison to the earthy hues around it. For a moment I had entered a dreamworld, soaring high above the palm trees. Among the tropical wetlands of the earth lives a graceful and mesmerizing bird, the Great Egret. This image sets another scene for what is instinctually united: creature and environment, bird and earth, egret and marsh. What is true and what is imagined. To notice and immerse oneself in the natural world and the unexplainable, dream world.
