"Volver a Chile" is a medium format black-and-white series exploring memory, exile and identity through a personal return to Chile, the country my father was forced to flee during the dictatorship. Created with a Hasselblad 500CM, the project moves through Chilean landscapes as emotional territories, somewhere between documentary and poetic contemplation. Through a slow analog process, the series reflects on absence, transmission and the intimate relationship between memory and place.
