Loud Etudes: Kuala Lumpur is a self-published literary travel guide to Chinatown, a neighbourhood where history, faith, and daily life merge into one rhythm of Malaysia. Shot entirely on 35mm film and paired with literary essays, the guide combines cultural storytelling with curated recommendations: what to visit, where to eat, and how to experience the neighbourhood where locals go. Inside: the history of Chinatown, its temples and cultural centres, the bustle of Petaling Street, curated restaurants, cafes, traditional teahouses, bars, and walking routes through hidden alleys.
