Symphony On Stone: Deconstructing Yungang Grottoes

Yungang Grottoes embody a convergence of human civilization. Symphony on Stone uses large-format film to deconstruct this heritage. Shooting from scaffolding with professional artificial lighting, I sculpted the statues' three-dimensionality in the dark, revealing their architectural grandeur and exquisite "clinging drapery." These photos replicate our shared memory, paying tribute to ancient craftsmanship. Through this classical language, I present this World Cultural Heritage globally, letting viewers appreciate timeless visual art belonging to us all.
