‘’Entangled states’’ approaches boundaries as both material and emotional conditions, lived and self-induced. Conceived as the initial part of a long-term project and grounded in the migratory history of my family across Europe, the work situates personal narrative within the broader context of border regimes, national identities, and belonging. The title refers to a quantum mechanics concept where particles become so deeply correlated that their properties cannot be described independently, regardless of the distance separating them.
