This series explores how identity is transformed by displacement, loss, and the passage of time. Rooted in my experience of migration from Ukraine to Portugal and the impossibility of returning to a home altered by war, it reflects on the unstable nature of memory and belonging. Using Polaroid photography and physical interventions on images, I create works that carry traces of change and vulnerability. Photographs become both an images and an objects, embodying the process of negotiating a new sense of self.
