In analog television broadcasting, the absence of a signal appears as electromagnetic noise, generated partly by the device’s own electronics and partly by traces of cosmic background radiation from the Big Bang. While an analog signal degrades gradually, a digital signal remains stable up to a critical point. Our reality can be understood as a dynamic network of relations in which no external viewpoint exists. Our identity also exists in a state of continuous unpredictability. Through various materials and media, this series seeks to explore the transience of the self’s stability.
