"Suspended Terrain" was photographed across eastern and southeastern Ukraine during the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Rather than focusing on combat, the series examines how prolonged war reshapes landscapes, infrastructure and everyday life. Defensive infrastructure, damaged homes, abandoned interiors and altered landscapes reveal a territory shaped by adaptation as much as destruction. Together, the photographs form a fragmented portrait of life lived in the shadow of a war that has become part of the ordinary.
