Obscyra is an imaginary constellation, hidden at the edge of the visible. In this series of Polaroids, cracks and textures of forgotten walls are transformed into star maps, revealed by a light capable of bringing forth what usually remains unseen. I use the Polaroid not as a document, but as an alchemical lens that transforms the wall into sky and the crack into a constellation; the texture of a surface thus becomes the topography of a solar system. The black glittered frame evokes a deep sky, amplifying the illusion of a boundless space that invites one to lose oneself in the unknown.
