This series tells a story of a farewell to a part of oneself, a girl letting go of a part of herself before entering a new stage of life. Alone, she moves through an imagined ritual involving flowers, water, and candlelight. The early images follow the act of letting go: quiet, deliberate, and almost peaceful. In the later images, the ritual gives way to uncertainty and fear of what comes next. The visual language of the series was inspired by Gothic aesthetics, Slavic folklore, and mythological motifs. The ritual is fictional and does not recreate or refer to any specific tradition.
