Places have always been important to me. Sometimes they make a crack in my soul. A crack for light, memories, beauty, darkness, reflection. Some years ago I started to get to know a new part of a forestland. I have spent many lonely hours there walking and climbing, whatching, thinking, inhaled its scents and felt it´s wind roll through the arms of the spruces. I have come to love this bit of land and used my cameras as tools for preserving something important and intangible here in the form of photo gravures.
