Cracked city walls, dust-covered structures, and objects deformed by impact. Traces encountered on streets did not seem to be mere damages, but signs revealing that existence continues in a different form. When the original form of an object overlaps with the present within an unplanned scene, submerged memories of the past intertwine with contemporary senses, manifesting as displaced emotions. Rather than simply reproducing what is fading away, I seek to reconstruct senses into an unrealistic abstraction borrowed from fragments of reality, and contemplate textures engraved in those crevices.
