A physical mosaic deconstructing the interior hall of the Cardinal Massaia Hospital in Asti, where I live. Taken from a single viewpoint using red, orange, and monochrome filters, the composition incorporates hand-cut geometric tiles alongside pitch-black fragments from unexposed instant film. Reassembled inside an iconic empty Polaroid frame, the work breaks the static nature of the space into chromatic layers and blind spots. It explores architectural volume through the lens of emotional tension, altered time, and missing memories typical of a hospital setting.
