The Empty Platform

I returned to this metro station several times, waiting for a moment when the platform would be completely empty. I wanted to capture its symmetry and quiet geometry without the distraction of people. I shot the image on CineStill film with my Canon AT-1, deliberately choosing the film for its distinctive halation, which adds a subtle glow to the station’s artificial light and gives the scene a more atmospheric, almost cinematic quality.
