The Songshan Pumped-Storage Hydropower Station in Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province, China, is currently under construction. All the water pumped comes from Longtan Lake at the foot of Mount Song. Once completed, Longtan Lake will experience tides again and again, but it will never again look the way it originally did.
